Dr. Marvin J. Fritzler

Dr. Marvin J. Fritzler, the founder of MitogenDx, has served as its Director for over 50 years. Dr. Fritzler is also Professor Emertius at the University of Calgary, Cumming School of Medicine. He received his PhD in Cell Biology at the University of Calgary, Dr. Fritzler continued with postdoctoral research in Autoimmunity at the Scripps Clinic and Research Institute in La Jolla, CA and at the University of Colorado in Denver. His areas of expertise include autoimmune diseases, cell and molecular biology of autoantigens, and laboratory diagnostics. Under Dr. Fritzler’s leadership and driven by his passion for precision and companion health, MitogenDx has gained international recognition as a leader in diagnostic medicine.

Dr. May Y. Choi

Dr. May Choi is the Associate Director of MitogenDx, bringing extensive expertise in autoimmune diseases and innovative diagnostics. She completed her MD at the University of Alberta and training in Internal Medicine and Rheumatology at the University of Calgary. Dr. Choi holds a Master of Public Health in Epidemiology from Harvard University and completed a clinical and research lupus fellowship at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Harvard Medical School. Her areas of expertise include systemic lupus erythematosus, biomarker discovery, precision medicine, and the application of artificial intelligence in laboratory diagnostics. Dr. Choi’s leadership at MitogenDx supports the company’s mission to deliver advanced autoimmune diagnostic services on local, national, and international scales.
