Receiving Results

we do not fax, send, or communicate results or provide status updates to physicians, patients, or their families. ***

Within Alberta

Results are uploaded to Netcare/Millennium/SCM upon test completion.

Outside Alberta

Results are sent within turnaround times only to the referring laboratory via fax. It is the referring lab’s responsibility to manage the results and communicate them with physicians through their applicable system(s). Mitogen cannot control or be held responsible for the handling of results once they are sent to the referring laboratory. To comply with Canadian privacy laws and because we cannot confirm the identity of individuals who are contacting us, we do not fax, send, or communicate results to physicians, patients, or their families.

The turnaround times commence once a sample is registered into Mitogen’s registration system, not from the date the sample is taken. If you have not received your results, please contact the referring laboratory.

PLEASE NOTE: Accurate and complete MitogenDx requisitions ensure that samples can be processed in a timely manner. Submission of incomplete / non-MitogenDx requisitions will result in processing delays which MitogenDx cannot be accountable for. Fees may be applied.

Direct to Customer / Self-Pay

Results of a test ordered directly from an individual customer will be emailed to the customer within the designated turnaround time starting from the day the sample is registered in our system.
